Corporate Events

We understand how important it is to keep staff motivated and self-esteem high in order for a business to be successful. Our Culinary team build events to create an environment that promotes bonding between participants that is not always possible in a work environment.

With the assistance of our professional Chefs, team members work together to prepare a fantastic dish in a comfortable setting – whilst improving their confidence, communication and leadership ability. Key Managers are able to assess staff members’ skills with regards to problem solving and team interaction, while corporate hosts are able to spend quality time communicating with customers.

We can host your corporate event for up to 80 people, tailored to meet your exact requirements and no culinary experience is required.

Many of our most popular corporate activities are interactive cook and eat classes which give you and your team the chance to create contemporary cuisine from all around the world. The delegates will be encouraged and supervised by a professional chef who will oversee the whole event. 

This is how we do it!

To begin, you need to choose an event from one of the headings below that you feel your team would benefit from. (Min number of people for the event – 10. Max numbers – 80)

  • Your group is split into smaller teams. After an introduction which includes a health and safety briefing, we will begin the main exercise
  • The teams will be given a time frame to produce their task component
  • Then as a whole group they will produce their final dish together

The Challenge

The challenge is to produce a three course contemporary meal (starters, mains and desserts).  Each team is responsible for one component of their meal.  The aim of the exercise is for the delegate to produce and consume their own creation and for their final efforts will receive a complementary glass of wine or non alcoholic drink to have with their well earned meal.

Ready Steady Cook Corporate Cook-Offs

Each team will be given a mystery box from which they choose their ingredients.   This is a ‘Generation Game’ style competition, whereas our chefs demonstrate international cooking techniques for each team to follow – good clean fun!  Does your team have a knack of being overly competitive? Challenge each other and see who will win the Masterchef prize or the dreaded wooden spoon!

As a team effort, create a croquembouche under the guidance of our expert pastry chef. This is a French traditional dessert consisting of a tower of profiteroles.  These are filled with either confectioners cream or vanilla or chocolate custard. Perhaps daubed in dark or white chocolate! The whole tower is wrapped in spun sugar.

The Cowboy or Indian

In just four hours, each team is tasked to produce 3 different Indian dishes with accompaniments and cook up a banquet for all to try. Great for larger corporate groups as the varied menu really can cater for all. Even with large groups, each team will get an intimate introduction to Indian cookery and taste their wares.

Chocolate Heaven

The Aztec’s regarded chocolate as an aphrodisiac and their Emperor, Montezuma reputedly drank it fifty times a day from a golden goblet and is quoted as saying of Xocolatl: “The divine drink, which builds up resistance and fights fatigue. A cup of this precious drink permits a man to walk for a whole day without food”

In this hands on class you will be guided by our expert Chocolatiers.  We will then collectively make the following:-

  • Dark chocolate truffle tart
  • Rum chocolate truffles
  • Stem ginger, walnut and chocolate truffle terrine

At the end of the course you will receive a recipe pack for you to take home plus your well earned dessert!
